These are the sort of childish tactics being employed these days in the House of Representatives. Is it any wonder American have lost faith in Congress? Of course what Grayson says is not only a lie, but absurd and beyond reason and even the worst rhetoric.
This idiotic display of labeling is reminiscent of something similarly stupid uttered by our local planning commissioner John Luvaas who made a remark in a public hearing about the Enloe hospital expansion that the city had to consider other things besides saving “82 1/2-year-old people that are going to die in a year-and-a-half anyway.”
A move to oust Luvaas over that statement failed before the City Council. Apparently when Democrats do things like this it isn’t as “wrong” as when Republicans do. Will Representative Grayson lose his seat over this lie or even get a sanction like Joe Wilson? Doubtful, but one can always hope.
