If you need assistance, have a question, or wish to volunteer, leave a note below, along with your name and telephone number, and someone will be in touch with you soon.

I am a Government teacher in Paradise, and I am looking for someone to come to class to talk to students.
Hello Mr. Christie,
Did you ever receive a response to this email?
Angela Thompson
Hi John, send your contact info to Steve Thompson at stevegop@comcast.net. Also, the Republican Headquarters is now up and running for campaign season, that is also a good place to ask for someone to talk, there are volunteers there everyday. It is at 896 East Ave in the old Hollywood video building. Be a bit patient if you e-mail Steve, this is a hectic time of year for our local politicians

The Chico Republican Women, Federated, would like to invite you to visit our new website located at http://www.chicorwf.org. There are many resources you might find helpful; including their Mission Statement, monthly calendars listing local and area political events, and pages of linked resources. If you add resource links to your website, Chico RWF would appreciate being included as a resource. The recent Grand Opening of the Chico Republican Headquarters was a great success. Pictures of the attendees have been posted on the Photo Gallery sections of the chicorwf.org website. Thank you!

If you think that illegal immigration is a good idea and the First Amendment is a bad idea, stop reading here.
In Novato, Marin County, the Committee for Legal Employment and Contracting circulated an Initiative that would require contractors doing business with the city to use E-Verify for its new hires. Our objective is to insure that Novato tax dollars are not spent to pay illegal wages, and to insure that Novato tax dollars provide jobs for American citizens. The Initiative qualified for the ballot, but the city council illegally refused to put it on the ballot. (Elect Code sec 9215).
I have attended every city council meeting to protest their illegal actions (or inactions). I was arrested at the council meeting of Sep 14th for “disrupting a public meeting”. I spoke for nine seconds, did not raise my voice and used no profanity. I will attend the Sep 28th meeting and may be arrested again for seeking my First Amendment rights:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
We need your help. We have located an attorney who will sue the city to have the Initiative put on the ballot, but we need $10,000 for a retainer. Please contribute to:

I am running for City Council in Novato. If the Butte County Republican Party helps Republicans get elected to office, please help me. Thank you.
I received a “voting guide for Republicans” at my home in Paradise. It listed Scott Lotter for Town Council. I know these are paid for mailers, but I find this very deceptive. My parents, in their late 80′s thought it was a valid mailer and fortunately mentioned it before marking their ballots. Since Town Council is non-partisan they didn’t know. Scott is extremely liberal and was a democrat for years before recently changing to indepenant, an attempt to hid the fact? I am wondering how many others in Town also received this mailer and took it as gospel. Could you at the very least write a letter to the editor of the Paradise Post to let the community know?
I am looking for local County Republican Party bilaws or constitutions. Does your local party have any set rules for governing your group?
If so could you send me a document attach. to consider for our local party?
Thanks
Jon
I was wondering if the Butte County Republican Party was hiring interns in January. I am a senior at Chico State majoring in Public Relations and I am looking for an internship with a conservative political organization next semester. If there are no internships available, could you please give me the contact information for organizations that are looking for interns? Thanks
Rebecca

I am writing you to inform you about an upcoming event called the Chico Great Debate, which will take place throughout the day on April 21 in the Chico City Council Chambers. The purpose of the Chico Great Debate is to bring together members of the campus and community to investigate and engage in dialogue around a “hot topic” that has the potential to divide us. This years topic is “Immigration.” The day of presentations and debates stresses active listening, respectful exchange, and collaborative civic learning through civil discourse. For the first time, we are also adding a community-member storytelling component.
During the evening, there will be a main debate focused on “Should California Increase Restrictions on Immigration,” with a debate team made of community members and students representing either side. I feel that your organization will be interested in attending this event.
We strongly welcome you are audience members at the Chico Great Debate. Please email me if you have any questions. Or please feel free to call the First Year Experience office at 898-6579.
Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get a Chico Yes on Measure “A” yard sign? Besides my passionate support for the measure, I am surrounded by liberals with “No” signs in their yards in my downtown neighborhood. Time to show that families with common sense also live downtown.

Hi fellow campaigners for liberty. I am looking to get some Ron Paul campaign supplies such as banners bumper stickers buttons etc whatever is available. I have the ear of lots of energetic students and would love to help spread the message of conservative government.
If you can tell me where to get free supplies I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Lise

“There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root.” – Henry David Thoreau
Our goal at Glenn County Liberty is to document and discuss news and events in Glenn County and surrounding counties that reduce or increase our liberty. We also hope to introduce residents to the larger liberty/freedom movement. We prefer to “strike the root” of issues here in Northern California instead of get caught up in the numerous arguements on either side. We believe in individual freedom and responsibility over central government control. If you are of a like-mind, please follow and share our blog.
